Giza!

An extended visit to the Giza Plateau! Choose to either come along with the group or set off on your own to explore the wonders of Giza.

Explore Giza's three large pyramids, their temple complexes and subsidiary pyramids, & the interiors of those that are open.

Visit the Museum of the Solar Boat of Khufu. Wander around the Sphinx and get those photos that will make your friends envious! The more adventurous might like to set off into the desert on horse or camel-back to get shots of the complete pyramid site rising from the sands, while others might like to just sit in the shadows of the pyramids and contemplate or explore the numerous tombs, mastabas and minor pyramids of Giza.

We aim to give you as much time at Giza as we can - after all who has not dreamed of being in the shadows of the great Giza pyramids?

When we return to Cairo the rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish. In the early evening we set off once more to Giza for the Sound and Light Show. After the show you may wish for a quick stop-off at Cairo's Hard Rock Cafe shop for a special souvenir.
