Between
the Valleys of the Kings and the Queens lies Dier el-Medina -
a village purpose-built to house the workmen who created the royal
tombs, and their families. We have time to wander through the
ancient alleyways and see their houses, delight in some of their
most beautifully painted tombs (the Tombs of Aneuka & Sennedjem)
and a visit to the wonderful Ptolemaic temple nearby is a must.
