The 'Colossi of Memnon'

On the West Bank at Luxor sit the so-called 'Colossi of Memnon' - two 18m high seated statues of Amenhotep III which once flanked the entrance to his now-vanished temple. Mike will explain the fascinating story of the 'singing statue' and some of the remarkable recent finds at the temple site.
