Dr. Mike Jenkins has published numerous academic papers in the fields of numismatics and Egyptology. Much of his recent work has focused upon on Elephantine Island in Upper Egypt and thus far he has published four academic papers on his research there. He is in the process of completing a major book on the island's 5000+ year history.
