HIEROGLYPHS - AN INTRODUCTION

This full day workshop features PowerPoint illustrated lectures, many hands-on activities and lots of suggestions as to how you can develop your skills in using Egypt's sacred writing. The course will briefly examine how the 'code' of hieroglyphs was 'cracked' in modern times and participants will be shown how to read some basic signs. By the end of the day you will understand how the system works, be able to write names, and translate and compose simple sentences.
